Shipping & Delivery

Getting your order from our warehouse to your doorstep is a shared effort. We move quickly to prepare and hand off your package, but a smooth international delivery also depends on a few key actions on your end. Here’s how the responsibilities break down.

What we handle

Once you’ve completed your purchase, our team gets to work. Because the system begins processing immediately, we’re unable to adjust the model, color, or any other detail after an order is placed. From there, we aim to have everything packed and handed to the carrier as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that during peak periods, like holidays or major sale events, the volume of orders means it may take a little longer for your package to leave our facility. As soon as it does, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link, so you can follow its journey.

What you'll need to manage

Your active involvement is essential once the package is in transit. The responsibility for monitoring the tracking information and responding to any requests from the courier or local customs office falls entirely to you, the receiver. If a delivery fails because a required document wasn’t submitted, a notification was missed, or the package simply wasn’t followed up on, the shipment will likely be marked as “return to sender.” In that situation, we’re unable to issue a refund or send a free replacement; you would need to place a new order. Your local post office or a neighborhood courier service typically handles the final delivery, often bringing it with your regular mail. If you aren’t available to receive it, they’ll usually leave a notice card explaining how to collect your package. It’s also wise to check your country’s postal regulations beforehand to confirm there are no restrictions on the items you’re ordering, as we cannot be held liable for goods that aren’t accepted into your country.

Costs beyond the product price

Several external factors influence the final cost and timing of your delivery. The shipping fee you pay at checkout is calculated based on the weight of your package and where it’s headed. For all international orders, the recipient is responsible for any import taxes, duties, and customs fees that the destination country levies once the parcel arrives. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are not covered by Cottonfield. Additionally, customs clearance procedures can sometimes require extra paperwork and time, which may delay the delivery beyond the initial estimate.

There’s also the matter of currency. While you can browse our store and see prices in your local currency, the final transaction at checkout is processed in US Dollars (USD) through Paypal or Stripe. If your credit card account uses a different currency, your bank will apply its own exchange rate, which might differ from the one displayed on our site. Your bank may also add a foreign transaction fee. These financial adjustments are entirely between you and your bank; we have no control over or responsibility for them.
